In-Ovation® L MTM
It’s important to remember that most people are going to be attracted to you not only for your outer beauty but also for your inner beauty. Your smile is one of the first things that people notice about you, so it’s best to keep it in good shape.
A lot of people don’t realize how important it is to pay attention to their smiles. They don’t realize that crooked, misaligned, chipped or discolored teeth can be a source of embarrassment and can make it difficult for people to be socially confident.
If you go with the traditional metal braces, you’ll have to wear them for years and be in pain and discomfort every time you eat. For people who are self-conscious about their teeth, the decision to get In-Ovation® L MTM treatment can be a huge weight lifted from their shoulders.
Fortunately, the In-Ovation® L MTM System provides a third alternative: invisible lingual braces.
The In-Ovation® L MTM System is designed to work in weeks as opposed to years. The twelve main “smiling” teeth are realigned using self-ligating, lingual brackets.
Lingual braces are attached to the tongue side of the teeth, which makes them a great alternative to aligning trays for minor defects. In-Ovation® lingual braces have proven very effective for patients requiring less than 6mm of tooth movement.
How can In-Ovation® L MTM benefit me?
In-Ovation braces are designed to be invisible and just as quick to get out of the way as they were to get in. You’ll be able to spend less time with your orthodontist and more time doing the things you love. The wire that connects the brackets to the braces is called the archwire and it never needs to be replaced. That means fewer trips to the orthodontist!
In-Ovation® braces are also ideal for nervous patients because no injections or anesthesia are needed. In-Ovation® braces can be removed at any time and it is recommended that they be removed at night and during meals.
Here are some advantages associated with In-Ovation® L MTM:
- Complete treatment takes 12-24 weeks only.
- In-Ovation® treatment is cost-effective.
- Excellent results for patients needing less than 6mm of tooth movement.
- Increased comfort levels.
- Minimal impairment to speaking and eating functions.
- Reduced plaque buildup due to decreased treatment time.
- Requires fewer dental visits.
- Undetectable braces.
How are In-Ovation® L MTM braces fitted?
In-Ovation® braces take mere seconds to fit. The only teeth that are affected are the six upper front teeth and the six lower front teeth.
The planning phase of orthodontic treatment is the most crucial part of the process. In this phase, the dentist will take X-rays of your teeth and use these images to plan how to move your teeth. The dentist will look at your bite and determine which teeth need to be moved and how much the teeth need to be moved.
Once you’ve got your plan, it’s time to get your brackets bonded to your teeth. This is usually done by a dental technician, but it may be done by the dentist if you’re having a simple plan done.
Self-ligating brackets are brackets that close without the use of wires. The self-ligating clip is attached to the bracket, which allows the archwire to slide with minimal friction. This type of bracket is more comfortable than traditional brackets because they don’t have wires poking you in the mouth.
The self-ligating nature of the tiny clips means that no adjustments are needed. The brace actually adjusts itself, according to the movement plan set out by the dentist.
The In-Ovation® process is completely non-invasive, and the braces can be removed in less than 24 weeks. In-Ovation® is one of the most advanced orthodontic solutions on the market today.
At the end of the day, In-Ovation® is a great solution for anyone who is looking to improve the appearance of their smile without the need for metal wires and brackets. Invisalign® can take a little while to get used to, but once you get used to them, they’re really comfortable and there’s no discomfort at all.
