About Me
Bio- Born and Raised in Chicago IL, Dr. Basil has been practicing dentistry since 2006. He has been passionate about helping others since he was a child.
Coming from a family of doctors, he has been surrounded by those who give their time and efforts in order to make others feels better. Dr. Basil is a master trained dentist with countless continuing education including Implants, Orthodontics, Cosmetics and Root Canals.
He has received numerous training certificates from the prestigious Spears Academy, ensuring he gives his patients high quality dentistry. He is also member of numerous dental organizations including the CDA, AAID, Spears Academy, Academy of GP Orthodontics, and AAE. As he continues his drive for excellence, he has also completed his Fellowship from American Academy of Implant Dentistry with training from Loma Linda University.
His caring demeanor, meticulous skills and passion helps drive his excitement and love for his job every day. His passions include hiking camping and anything to do with outdoors, including helping animals. His amazing wife is an elementary school and yoga teacher. In her spare time, she is also a Docent Naturalist at a local park. His happiest moments are when he is with his wife and pets at home or on hike in the wilderness.

Personal Approach:
I love orthodontics! As a Dentist it’s incredible to have the opportunity to create the beautifully healthy and happy smiles my patients and friends deserve. Seeing people I care about gain self-esteem and start to smile with confidence is why I love Dentistry: I know I’ve had a positive impact on that person’s life, just as my orthodontist improved my life when I was a child!
I’ve been practicing General Dentistry since 2006 and then proceeded on my two year journey graduating from a Clinical Orthodontic program; obtaining my Orthodontic Clinical Fellowship Certificate from the Academy of Gp Orthodontics in 2017. As a Dentist this gives me the ability to bring in a truly multi focused approach to create your individual smile that you deserve. My older brother, uncle, and many of other family members are in the oral healthcare field. I was introduced to what they do when I was young and was drawn to the connections they build with their communities. Orthodontics and dentistry are a blend of science and art, and allow the time needed to get to know each patient on a personal level.
I’m proud of my team and the Atrium Dental and Orthodontics office. We’ve created a fun, family-friendly space where people tell us they feel at home. We treat every patient like a member of our family, with compassion and professionalism, and respect each person’s unique situation.
